Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other routes she could choose. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. However, she left before her band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create the Eurythmics Pop duo. Following that Lennox began to work on her first solo album Diva which came out in 1992. It received lots of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored blues, soul and jazz songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. This E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to her art work made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go... Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. In the following years, Lennox became a part of the band with her fellow musician Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox began her solo career with the release of her first album Diva that produced a number of hit songs includingWhy andWalking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. It has covers of songs like The No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has recorded six solo studio albums and one compilation album.
